André is Madeline's maternal country cousin, but it is unknown which of his parents is related to Madeline's parents. Since André shares his red hair from Madeline and her mother Ceira Fogg, either his mother or his father are family related to her.
He appears in Madeline and the Soccer Star. The girls at first, he was originally an elegant prince but it turned out he was just a young farmer living in a country side with his parents. Madeline is very close to his cousin which André explains to her about his father and the girls are initially picked on him which angers Madeline and that leads to a pillow fight until they apologize to her. André is often seen tending Miss Clavel's garden and according to the narrator that he was a green thumb as his garden becomes green and gold. Madeline eventually discovers André kicks the pumpkin in a farther distance in frustration, leading her to convince him to join in their soccer team, much to his refusal due to his shyness. However, André became a water boy to his cousin's soccer team as well as bringing other things for their practice. During the crucial soccer game as the girls and other boys are worn out. Madeline handpicks André as a secret weapon since he is able to kick the ball. As André's statement revealed that he cannot play soccer which was seen that he can't kick a soccer ball, much to the audience's jeer with laughter. As the last plan to win the championship, Madeline sneaks out and gets the orange paint and it painted the entire soccer ball in orange. Madeline tells André that think this orange painted soccer ball is a pumpkin which he happily gives an idea. With this, André kicks the ball in control which he outplays the opponent's soccer team which gives their team many scores. André kicks the ball to knock the goalkeeper out of commission with their score of 13, winning the game as champions. The next day, André decided to leave the old house and he tells Madeline that his father needed his help and decided to join the country's soccer team. Madeline hugged her cousin and she and the girls say goodbye to him as he left.
At the end of this episode, Nicole states that he is kind of cute which is a sign that she has developed a small crush on him.
