A gypsy caravan comes to Paris as a part of a traveling amusement park. When Madeline and Pepito get stuck at the top of a ferris wheel in the middle of a storm after everyone has gone home, Pepito asks her to help get Madeline off the Ferris Wheel and she urges the elephant, the strongman and the clown to get Madeline down. After the Gypsy Mama warms them up, she urges them to go home, but Madeline and Pepito urge to join the caravan. They enjoy the caravan, but must work. When the performing lion gets sick, the Gypsy Mama sews the children into a lion costume to do the act. They agree, but find themselves homesick. When it's time for Madeline and Pepito to go home, the Gypsy Mama cries goodbye and Miss Clavel thanks her for taking such good care of them.
