Madame Marie is a good friend of Miss Clavel and the girls in the T.V. special Madeline's Christmas. On a snowy Christmas Eve, she comes over to spend the night and helps Madeline make a special porridge on Christmas Day that makes the girls feel better, tells them to never give up on wishes and their families all show up with them for the holiday. In the end, Marie goes back home and to bed. However, it can be speculated that she is the girls' and Miss Clavel's guardian angel.
